2003 will be available to public radio stations in your area via
satellite feed, on May 7 and 8, 2003.
State of Mind: America 2003 is produced by Lichtenstein Creative
Media, the team behind the award-winning weekly radio program The
Infinite Mind, a weekly public radio series on the art and science
of the human mind. Hosted by Dr. Fred Goodwin. The Infinite Mind
reaches 600,000 Americans in more than 200 radio markets every week.

More About This Special Program
Hosted by Dr. Fred Goodwin, host of The Infinite Mind,
at The Carter Center in Atlanta Georgia, this special presentation
will include expert guests, panel discussions, commentary, live
performance and reports and callers from around the United States.
Among the outstanding participants scheduled to appear are: Former
First Lady Rosalynn Carter; Dr. Thomas Bornemann, Director of the
Mental Health Program at the Carter Center; Dr. David Pollack, Medical
Director for Mental Health Services for the Oregon Department of
Human Services; Ms. Rebecca Roberts; Dr. Quentin Ted Smith, clinical
professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Morehouse School
of Medicine; Mrs. Doris Smith, co-founder of the National Organization
of People of Color Against Suicide; Dr. David Satcher, 16th Surgeon
General of the United States; and Dr. Benjamin Druss, a psychiatrist
and the Rosalynn Carter Chair in Mental Health at Emory University's
Rollins School of Public Health. Also featured are special performances
by musician Aimee Mann and author Meri Nana-Ama Danquah.
State of Mind: America 2003 is a special production

Center and public radio station WABE Public Broadcasting Atlanta.
