Rosalynn Carter
Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter is co-founder with her husband,
President Jimmy Carter, of the Carter Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
She created and chairs the Center's Mental Health Task Force and
advocates promoting positive change in the mental health field.
Each year, she hosts the Rosalynn Carter Symposium on Mental Health
Policy. As then-Honorary Chair of the President's Commission on
Mental Health, she was instrumental in the passage of the Mental
Health Systems Act of 1980. Mrs. Carter is also active in the areas
of childhood immunization, human rights, conflict resolution, the
empowerment of urban communities and issues affecting families and
caregivers.

Dr. Benjamin Druss
Dr. Benjamin Druss is a psychiatrist and the Rosalynn Carter Chair
in Mental Health at Emory University's Rollins School of Public
Health. As such, he holds the first endowed chair in mental health
at a school of public health in the nation.

Dr. Fred Goodwin is the host of the national, weekly public radio
series The Infinite Mind, and the former director of the
National Institute of Mental Health.

Ms. Rebecca Roberts
Rebecca Roberts is a science reporter in San Francisco. For four
years, she was the technology reporter for "The World,"
a daily public radio program produced jointly by PRI, WGBH-FM, and
the BBC. She also hosted "Digital West, a public television
program on KQED-TV in San Francisco and was the founding producer
of "Beyond Computers," a weekly public radio show covering
technology and society.

Dr. David Satcher
As 16th Surgeon General of the United States, Dr. Satcher released
the first ever Surgeon General's report on mental health. He is
now the director of the National Center for Primary Care at the
Morehouse School of Medicine.
