Welcome to Lichtenstein Creative Media, a Peabody Award-winning producer of public television and radio programs and documentary films. Located just across the Charles River from downtown Boston, LCM has extensive multimedia production, distribution and educational/community outreach experience, particularly with health, human rights and social justice issues. LCM produces The Infinite Mind, public radio's most honored, and listened to, health and science program. The national, weekly public radio series is hosted by Dr. Fred Goodwin and focuses on all aspects of mental health, neuroscience, access to care, treatment advances and the mind/body connection. The Infinite Mind premiered in 1997, and now airs in more than 300 markets across the United States...reaching more than one million listeners weekly! Tips About Getting Here:
We're located in Kendall Square, Cambridge...a quick trip across the Longfellow bridge from Boston proper. Getting to our offices can be tricky thanks to the legendary Boston traffic and the "Big Dig" Interstate 93 Project, but with these guidelines - you'll be here in no time.

Some overall tips about getting here...

• If you drive, we recommend you park in the 1 Broadway garage. Street parking is extremely difficult in Kendall Square. As a guest we can validate your parking. See rates for details.
• Once you come into our lobby, security requires that you be signed in at the front desk. Make sure to bring photo ID. If you have any trouble, call your contact at LCM and they'll come down and sign you in.
• We're part of the Cambridge Innovation Center group, which rents space to companies like us on several floors in 1 Broadway. CIC's lobby is on the 14th floor and if you have any trouble finding us, please feel free to take the elevators to 14; their concierge will be happy to get you in touch with the LCM person you need to reach.
• If you're hungry, we have free sodas, coffee, tea and munchies in the kitchen. There's also a great lunch/dinner-to-go shop called Zigo adjacent to the lobby. Staying within the building there's a Dunkin' Donuts and Domino's Pizza. And within a block's walk there's a Starbucks, Au Bon Pain, Rebecca's Cafe, Sbarro's Pizza, and Damon's Sandwiches Food Court.

Maps  ) Most of the mapping services on the web find our address correctly, although they often get wrong the actual directions through Boston streets and highways. Of course, the streets & highways have a nasty habit of changing quite a bit here, too. We've put together a street map showing subway stations (aka "T stops") and the two most common paths to our building. Detailed directions are below.

Red path - Coming from the west on Memorial Drive: Head east on Memorial Drive under Massachusetts Avenue. Ignore the sign for Kendall Square, bear right instead. Memorial Drive crosses a small drawbridge; becomes Edwin Land Blvd. Another sign says "Left for Kendall Square", follow this sign onto Binney St. Continue following Kendall signs, at light turn left onto Third St. Go two blocks, look for the "Zigo" sign just before Third St. ends at traffic light/Broadway. Entrance to parking garage is just next to Zigo.

Green path - Coming from downtown Boston or Interstate 93.

1. Take the Storrow Drive/Leveritt Circle exit off I-93.
2. Go through the "to Storrow" short tunnel.
3. Immediately after, bear left for the Rt.3/Cambridge exit.
4. Once on the exit bridge ramp, bear right. At the traffic light, turn right onto Rt.3
5. Take Rt.3 across the Longfellow Bridge.
6. After the bridge, the first traffic light is Third Street. One Broadway is on your right.
7. Go right on Third Street, and then immediately right again into the parking garage (next to Zigo).

Public transit - Kendall/MIT stop on the Red Line subway. The Kendall/MIT station is across the street from 1 Broadway. Exit the station from the end opposite where the turnstiles & collector are. There's a small park with a large bronze globe-like fountain ahead. Go through it to the left. 1 Broadway is across the street, you'll see the "Zigo" sign. To get to the Red Line... Take the Green Line to Park Street Station, or... Take the Orange Line to Downtown Crossing, or... Take the Blue Line to Gov't Center, change to the Green Line and take an outbound trolley one stop to Park Street. Once you're at 1 Broadway. If you're parked in the garage, head for the 1st floor level. Look for a cluster of bicycle racks and a FedEx drop box next to the loading dock. The entrance to the lobby is there - go through two doors and down a short hall. Look for the security desk. If you're walking in, go through the revolving doors on either the Broadway side or the Third Street side; either entrance goes directly into the lobby - you'll see the security desk. At the security desk, you'll need to show the guard a picture ID and sign in to the guest register. Usually you'll be calling Aaron Read...see contact info for our numbers. Afterwards, take the elevators to the 3rd floor. When you step out, look for the sunflowers on the purple wall. Walk away that side and turn right. Lichtenstein Creative Media's entrance is next to the locked door with the phone next to it. If you're having trouble - go to any phone on the 3rd floor and dial "4907"; it will ring on all of LCM's phones. If all else fails, take the elevators up to the 14th floor and speak with the Concierge of Cambridge Innovation Center...they'll be able to help you as well.
